I am a Palestinian from The West Bank and I am a Communist

Hello as you’ve read from the title I’m a Palestinian who lives currently in the occupied territories of Palestine known as the West Bank ,my friend is a moderator here and he told me I should make a post introducing myself ,I once looked up “for Reddit but for leftists” and this is the site that I found ,anyways I personally love reading Manga ,Books,and Playing Chess

I am a Marxist Leninist ,can you believe the username Mohammed is not taken ? ,my friend told me that this space was too “white” but I didn’t think he was that right

  Yeah, there's no denying the melanin deficiency here, but I think most of us are able and willing to recognize the privilege we have that comes along with being bleach demons. Speaking for myself at least, and from what I've seen it's true of much of the community around here, we are learning to stfu and listen when a person of color tells us we're wrong, misunderstand something, or are just being dumbass crackers. So feel free to put us in our place when that happens. I'd like to think that most of the community here will appreciate it rather than immediately get defensive and chauvinistic like most other chromatically bland spaces. Anyway, welcome!

Saludos Mohammed. The resilience and strength of the Palestinian resistance is being watched by those of us in the global south and has become a source of inspiration to many. Some of our governments may be beholden to Israel but there are many of us who wish to see Palestine be freed from colonial rule and oppression.

- Not much of a romance Manga reader but I will read anything if I’m slightly interested ,for books I like pretty much everything that isn’t self help ,I don’t think there’s something inherently wrong with them but they just don’t interest me ,I like fiction generally
  
  Lately for manga I've been reading Aria (in Japanese!) and Akane-banashi, for books I've tended to read non-fiction usually about history or linguistics. Romance and self-help aren't really things I'm too fond of either, but romance has maybe been growing on me a little more lately...

So I've always been curious, what are relations like between Palestinian resistance groups of a more left/communist persuasion, and more Islamic nationalist groups? I know most had set aside ideological differences to form a popular front against Israeli colonialism, but I'm curious what kind of "discourse" does or doesn't happen between the groups and how their differences effect how they work together?

  my father's mother had leftist relatives but no I am Cis and Straight ,I just got radicalized with time also never really liked capitalism and my parents weren't capitalism apologists so that helped
