Music sets a mood and beat. Half of all music if not more makes sex amazing, whether you're having a really loving and intimate moment, sport fucking, or working out some really unhealthy emotions (and everything in between)

I really like to match the rhythm of a song in the act, and a few times that has gone exceptionally well in unexpected ways; Tyler's 'Rusty' set a surprisingly good pace with somebody who was definitely not into that style, more of a country music person - I don't think they even heard the song, as they were a little distracted.

On the other hand, I had really great success with Leslie Hall's 'Body Rolls', and would recommend it if y'all are the type for some giggles during the act. Unfortunately, this person really liked that song before but basically can't listen to it now because they found the experience a little too bizarre.

There's two types and both are acceptable, but one requires talking about it first.

The basic one is mood music, which is like dinner music. It's non invasive and entirely ignorable, people filter it out but it's there and provides something to the scene.

The one that requires talking about first is music intentionally for following along to, which for obvious reasons needs to be picked together because it's got to work for both people. It could be a distraction otherwise.

Common, but not for everyone. I think it's a terrible option for the first few times you're with someone, unless you've specifically bonded over musical tastes.
