i'm pretty sure the colour is like 75% of the reason why people consider "cola" its own thing, if you just taste it blindly then you realize that it's basically just vanilla, cinnamon, and citrus, which you'd expect to be more of a yellow-y beige and frankly probably really offputting colour.
I feel like black is already an off putting color for a liquid that you are going to consume haha but people got used to it so they'd probably get used to a yellowy drink. But I guess it's already terrible for you so what's another dosage of food colouring on top of it
I've never thought to try this, granted I rarely ever drink soda.
It's interesting to see multiple folks saying that Coca-cola and Pepsi taste the same. In my part of the world, there is (or was) a noticeable difference between the 2. I could easily discern the difference between them even in a blind taste test. "Coke" is noticeably more bitter and has more complex flavor. Pepsi is sweeter with sweeter flavor tones.
Omg, I'm dying over here...!
This is the greatest use of Soyjack I've ever seen.
If I could ever do an art gallery exhibit of memes, this one has to be on it. This ticks all the Pop Art boxes. Andy Warhol would have been deeply fascinated by the meme format.
This may sounds nuts but i have a simple formula I like to follow. A Coke with no ice but still cold or a Pepsi with ice. A Pepsi without ice or a coke with ice tastes different.
all sodas of the same flavour are basically the same, i don't understand why people care so much about the precise brand..
and it's weird how it only seems to happen for specific flavours, you don't tend to see orange soda fans getting up in arms about not being served fanta.
