But the fact remains. The last year has been the most deadly for Palestinians. Ever. More Palestinians have been killed in the last year than died during the formation of the state of Israel. More Palestinians have had their homes destroyed in the last year, then ever before in modern history.

It's fundamentally beside the point that the entire neoliberal edifice is demonstrably the worst thing for the Palestinians, and building an actual opposition does mean your opponent is liable to increase their aggression. A hypothetical Trump win is nothing but neoliberalism getting more aggressive as it is challenged (scratch a liberal, etc.). We cannot let fear of that turn us away from strategies that can actually solve things in the long term because all hands are too committed to bailing water instead of fixing the leak.
- I've said before that people who want America to get better have to be prepared to lose; we should be voting for third party (I'm a Jill Stein supporter myself) even if it means we lose this election. We may even lose the next one, but how many elections can we lose before people get sick of Republican victories and have zero choice but to vote third party?
