There are also hosting concerns and costs, but basically, yeah. This isn't a hard technical problem. There are even pre-written dev libraries for reading epub books, like this one for Flutter.
(Source: Am software developer. Could probably write a PoC for this in a few weeks.)
I asked for a description of the video and its content, and the OP refused to actually answer.
I'll watch the video if you'll confirm it's not an attempt to attack CRISPR technology.
Yeah, but, y'see, actual Idaho kinda sucks. They want the benefits of being in a blue state while complaining about it.
The Republican claim on hard-nosed, reality-based reasoning is just so astoundingly mendacious. I find myself legitimately perplexed over the whole thing.
I mean, the guys who believe the Earth is 6,000 years old, trickle-down economics work, ectopic pregnancies are a gift from God and mustn't be stopped, vaccines are poisonous, life doesn't evolve, and Donald Trump was a good president are the down-to-Earth realists? Is this performance art of some kind?
How do people like that survive to adulthood?
The prosecutors should immediately contact the DOJ and see if a federal case makes sense. Governor Murder-Pardoner can't pardon a federal conviction.
If you happen to be listening to MSNBC's round-table discussion at the moment, the guy who is basically claiming Cohen has destroyed the case against Trump is one of Trump's impeachment lawyers.
Edit: And he is an absolute hack.
Oh, that's fantastic. He should absolutely do that.
No one should be surprised in the slightest. I hope Biden holds the debate anyway, and addresses an empty podium if Trump's too cowardly (or too incarcerated) to show up.
Just out of curiosity, I looked up both their weights. Harrison Butker is a slim guy, weighing in at 199 lbs. Carl Nassib outweighs him by about fifty lbs.
Yep. And they're already fighting a losing battle against sea water getting into their freshwater supply. There will come a day when the sea levels have risen enough to make Florida tap water not potable throughout the state.
Andrew Rice claimed on Tuesday that he spotted former President Donald Trump "editing" the speeches his allies made outside of the courtroom.
Some context:
> Former Trump White House Communications Director Michael Dubke suggested on CNN Tuesday that Trump had mobilized his allies and proxies to the courthouse in an effort to “get around the gag order” imposed on him by Judge Merchan.
Yep. He's trying to violate the gag order indirectly. Unfortunately for him, the gag order specifically includes attempting to have surrogates violate the order on his behalf.
I suspect there's another gag order hearing incoming.
His ass.
Oh, trolling the bigots is always allowed.
Just as a reminder: Bigoted trolling is a one-way ticket to Bansville.
That is all.
This has been amazing. Cohen has been calm, cool, and collected, and I'm pretty sure Trump's lawyers are on the verge of tears because of it.
Maybe they're making more money now from ads shown in pirated copies of Windows than they do from actually selling Windows.
Four months is far too short for that fucker.
I take it from your non-answer that it's exactly what I suspected.
For the record, CRISPR is an amazing technology that is producing potential gene therapies for otherwise-untreatable illnesses. Just yesterday, Nature published an article detailing a promising treatment for HIV.
And fear mongers would try to scare terminally ill people away from treatments like that.
So no, I will not just "scroll on by" when I see something that tries to make people mistrust the medical science that could save their lives.
Okay, just so I'm completely clear on this, are they a) claiming that CRISPR is some kind of danger to the world, or b) debunking such claims about it?
I wasn't gonna say it, but yeah... I've been using Linux exclusively on my personal systems for more than 10 years. Every time I have to use Windows, it's almost physically painful. How the hell do people put up with that crap?
No. I haven't watched Ancient Aliens, either.
Let me make a wild guess: You're also anti-vaccine, right?
Roger Corman, who directed and produced hundreds of B movies and discovered Jack Nicholson, Martin Scorsese and Robert De Niro, has died. He was 98.
Federal authorities searched the congressman's home in Laredo in 2022 as part of an investigation into the country of Azerbaijan and a group of U.S. businessmen.
This is what a DOJ that hasn't been twisted by political bias looks like. It doesn't matter that Cuellar is a Democrat. If he did the crime (and he's innocent until proven guilty), he should do the time.
Republicans: Take note.

"This nurse scares me if I'm Trump," Watters said.
> Those calls came after numerous media outlets reported potentially identifying biographical information about the woman, including her job and the neighborhood she called home. Fox News Jesse Watters highlighted the juror's details while reading through public pool notes about the selected members. "This nurse scares me if I'm Trump," Watters said.
I've just finally contracted it for the first time. I'm vaxxed and multiple-times-boosted, so it's not that bad...
But it's still pretty fucking miserable. Ugh. The paxlovid seems to be helping some, but in return it's giving me the most horrendous taste in my mouth. Like a battery fucked a lemon in there.
What worked for you when you caught it, lemmings?
Edit: Holy cats, you guys came through! Thank you all for your various recommendations. The gist of it seems to be:
- Definitely stay on the paxlovid (and use pineapple to deal with the awful taste in my mouth that's a side-effect).
- Rest. Fucking REST! Do not, under any circumstances, stop resting until it's run its course. (Fortunately already doing that, since I've been feeling half-past dead.)
- Ibuprofen, acetaminophen, and mucinex are my dear, sweet friends. (I'm already a big fan of mucinex, so I have some already.)
- Drink a lot of water. (I have a comically oversized cup I've been using for that.)
And I gotta say... Now, as the end of the day approaches, I think I might, just maybe, be feeling a tad better. Thank you all!

Just a reminder that it's still February, people.
> New York Judge Juan Merchan has rejected an attempt to dismiss the charges in the hush money case against former President Donald Trump, and a jury trial will begin as originally scheduled on March 25.
The orange shit-gibbon is finally, actually going to be on trial. And it's well before the November election.
As a reminder, this is the hush money case. 34 counts related to paying Stormy Daniels and using campaign cash to do it.
Democrat Tom Suozzi has won the New York special election to the U.S. House, according to an AP race call. Suozzi will serve out the remainder of the term for former GOP Rep. George Santos, who was expelled from the House last year.
