An extremely-dangerous winter storm has arrived in California and will unload feet of snow, powerful winds and rare blizzard conditions in the state’s mountains through the weekend.
So while Texas is basically entirely on fire, California is getting New York's weather.
I have never hated CNN more than when I read that clickbait bullshit of a headline just now.
25 3 ReplyAgreed, it's a terrible headline, but the story is accurate. California's getting a lot more snow in a lot more places than usual right now.
16 0 ReplyWhy is it terrible? It's terribly accurate is all.
And actually already 167 mph wind gust recorded at Pallasaids in Tahoe. Forecast is for 12' of snow. Highways completely shut down. Etc.

9 0 ReplyIt looks like where the road passes through Truckee, CA, a bit east of the actual Donner pass in the mountains.
