Existence = Life and Glazed Tiny Grains = Frosted Mini Wheats, but I haven't figured out what the other two are.

  I think you're right. Cookie = Sweetdisk I can see, but Crisp and Chomp are pretty different.

- I have been able to identify symbols in the rotated position for some solar cycles now.

Many human nestlings of the North American variety protest the last two cereal lines because they are a much lower calorie content and sweetness.

I first understood the 'earlier consciousness' to mean he was born earlier and hence felt he had right to the cereal of choice
I have a daily calendar of these cartoons, and it really is the high point of waking up to turn to a new day. Amazingly, my wife also enjoys it (we are very compatible in most things but not humour).
