Didn't darpa or whoever made the robo dog swear they weren't going to arm it?
- Think it was Boston Dynamics, but yeah.
- Probably but I also know for a fact that development was done with DARPA and they were strapping guns to that thing before it was even publicly shown. When DARPA pulled funding later they said it was due to it being too loud for combat.
  The goal was always to use this as an assault device of some kind.

idk even as stupid and murderous as the militaries are, small arms robots are gonna be right next to your own guys, they don't mind robots killing civilians ofc but they probably would want to avoid trigger dog perforating one of their expensive operator hogs
