What about advanced microwaving?
you can't just jump to advanced microwaving without taking intermediate microwaving and microwave theory
Microwaves are surprisingly capable. Not the first choice for anything pictured but definitely doable. A torch to finish can really do a lot as well.
New dude apartment kitchen design is just having a Microwave with a blow torch on top next to a stack of paper plates and sporks.
Is there an advanced microwaving?
You're not ready yet, child. If you do not first master the basics, then it is the microwave that will master you
There is some interesting stuff you can do with the sides/edge of the microwave being hotter than the middle, along with manipulating the power level of the microwave and moisture. Warming up a plate of food, but keeping the centre of the plate empty, while lowering the power level, can allow for much more even heating and cooking of food. Another example, putting a damp paper towel that has been wrung out and unfolded over the food in the microwave can allow for some interesting things, like warming up or cooking food while keeping it crispy or of the right texture, instead of it ending up as a soggy microwave meal. That, or using a microwave cover and a small bowl of water, which is way more practical then the paper towel solution.
You also get steamers that work in the microwave decently, not the best though, because the food gets steamed and microwaved at the same time. It's passable.
don't give away my hard learned secrets!
my partner is always amazed at how i can reheat food inn the microwave without it being the temperature of the sun on the outside and the temperature of Pluto on the inside... simply adjusting the power level and adding more time is the whole trick
There's a surprising amount of dishes that you can cook in the microwave from start to finish. I'm not talking like microwaved hamburger-tier results either. (I don't eat meat so idk if that has any bearing on the outcomes.)
Microwaved scrambled egg sounds terrible but if you do it right, and it's actually extremely simple to do it right, it comes out better than most scrambled eggs that I've had that are mid-level (think the level of an average cafe but not a higher end restaurant.)
People will not believe me and that's okay because I wouldn't have believed it either but I've cooked Indian curries from scratch in a microwave before and you wouldn't be able to tell by the result.

I can hear Gordon Ramsay cursing already.
People should make microwave-specific recipes. A fundamentally new way of heating food, and all we can think of is reheated leftovers and frozen mass produced garbage?
I found a YouTube link in your comment. Here are links to the same video on alternative frontends that protect your privacy:
Yeah I first shunned it out of vague ludditism I grew up with to feel extra cool abt not buying one but they're so useful for rice and potatoes and stuff, saves a burner
EEEEEEEEYYAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHH
