Thank you everyone for your insight, comments, and help with the process! I'm started with Fedora, and after some brief confusion between Gnome and Plasma, I'm off! :D

Where did the Linux socks thing come from? I see it around and am curious about the lore.

Is this a fresh install and sitting at 10gb ram? Seems like a lot.

- FC42 is on kernel 6.14.11 for stable, this rig is still on .0 for some reason.
  Something is not right.

What did you do to get the nice terminal output with the colour display and fedora ASCII art? Just a copy+paste in bashrc?
- Looks like neofetch, still gets a lot of use even if it's archived
