English shows US flag
I once saw a language selector with two Chinese flags for "Chinese (traditional)" and "Chinese (simplified)" and also, with the British and American flags, "English (traditional)" and "English (simplified)". That got a good chuckle out of me.
Simplified is good. It's a language not a secret code. Idk why the UK is so damn proud of their vestigial U in "colour".
Thanks for passing the chuckle along.
English is a loan word from AngloSaxon that translates to "Stolen Noises".
English doesn’t “borrow” from other languages: it follows them down dark alleys, knocks them over, and goes through their pockets for loose grammar and valuable vocabulary.
