So, is the Hexbear mod situation okay or do we have the send in the tanks?

Edit: this situation has now been resolved, according to anonymous sources... only vigorous self-crit and two fights.

Maybe we ought to bring in some outside consultants to advise on how to go forward. I hear McKinsey is known for their consulting expertise.

As I understand it Admins did the stupid rename, everyone told them they didn't like their pointless change, and instead of backing off they did a tantrum followed by users doing bigger tantrums
Why not revert back to one week ago and that's it problem solved
- I guess... I've also heard something about cult of personality regarding TC69, and mod bans, under the veil of irony and humor
  But I think the mods are already self-critting, by now
  
  I think it's less "cult of personality" than "clash of personalities"
