These guys were big in the 2000s: What would something like this even look like in a post-Trump/MAGA America?

Is it even possible to have "Southern" comedy separate from chud culture war shit? Or would literally every joke just be about "woke" and "DEI"?
I can't help pointing out that Jeff Foxxworthy was a child of an IBM exec. Him claiming "blue collar" is so fucking disengenuous.
45 0 ReplyLarry the Cable Guy is also a persona. His real name is Daniel Lawrence Whitney and he majored in drama and speech in college.

26 0 ReplyFuck that, commit to the bit and parade Trump's casket along like that procession unit in Sisters of Battle.
12 0 ReplyOnly if I get to live like a medieval camp follower selling Trump relics out of a tent. For $30 you can have an authentic toenail of Rudy Giuliani dipped in Seagram's Gin.

On Youtube a couple years back there was a Southern comedy series. It was by all accounts rather progressive and chill. The dudes in this pic all kinda look the same to me, but I think the dude on the far right (ironic, I know) is actually a pretty solid bloke. Hell, his stand-up isn't too bad either.
19 0 ReplyYeah he's the guy tat did a bit about getting arrested for drunk in public after getting thrown out of a bar, "I didn't want to be drunk in public I wanted to be drunk in a bar, they threw me into public"
