Had heard about it for years and decided to start it up last month to kill time til' the Thousand Year Door remake, and boy am I glad I did. The world, characters and lore are so charming, well-written and designed, the soundtrack is awesome. You can tell it's a real labor of love.
A true spiritual successor to the first 2 Paper Marios, but is still unique enough to stand on it's own.
If you love the aforementioned games, or turn-based story rpgs in general, and want to support the indie developer: it is an absolute STEAL at $25. You definitely get a full game's worth of content.

Oh yeah! Overall I still like it (I like the whole game tbf), I just think maybe if they kept it to 2 trips to the steeple instead of 3 it would be less grating. It's that 3rd trip that's a bit much.
Oh yeah, watch the trailer! This isn't a mere remaster, they're actually basically remaking the game from the ground up. Redoing the graphics, re-orchestrating the music, retranslating the dialogue, everything!

It is actually. I was bullied when I was younger and it fucked me up, which is why it makes me uncomfortable seeing the word used positively.
Some here are taking a bad faith interpretation like I'm saying "BULLYING NAZIS IS LIKE BULLYING THIS CHILD!1!1" when it should be pretty obvious that's not what I'm getting at.
