Honestly I feel like it doesn't really matter either way, it adds a little complexity for the people maintaining qt and gtk and things like that, but most actual application developers aren't interacting directly with the display server so it doesn't make much difference for them
I agree that the government is not going to stop causing harm and will probably continue to cause more harm. I agree that biden is a terrible candidate. But we have a choice between him and trump and I am 100% sure trump would cause more harm than biden. Trump wants to be a dictator, biden does not. Unless you somehow genuinely think trump is no worse than biden, you need to vote for biden. (And if you do think trump is no worse, you need to read the republican project 2025 plan)
Just a quick list of a few things the republicans want to do if trump wins:
- Abolish the department of education
- Further restrict abortion
- Remove laws preventing discrimination based on sexual orientation and gender
- Increase use of the death penalty
- Make the president a "unitary executive"
Right, you instead let the other candidate who is just as likely to fund genocide win and pretend to be superior somehow for "not encouraging it". I'm sure everyone who suffers as a result of project 2025 will appreciate your stance.
Hmm, what happens if there's a power outage? Or is dark the default state and it needs power to be clear?
Wait what happens if I do something that like inherently has consequences like cutting off my arm? Does it grow back after the 24 hours are up?
I have on multiple occasions done a much more verbose variant of that: "I genuinely cannot remember what I changed"
This still runs Linux, or whatever else you want to run, it just has a RISC-V CPU instead of an x86 or ARM one
Oh true yeah I always forget about that
I feel like an important thing he forgot to mention though is that it lets you allow multiple users to have root privileges without having to share passwords or SSH keys
It's so weird how they're just insisting it isn't an android app even though people have proven it is. Who do they expect to believe them?
It depends how far it gets before the seatbelt locks, if there isn't much space between the belt and the seat it would be pretty hard for it to rotate. It would also need to somehow get a lot of upward motion to go through the windshield instead of just smashing in a dashboard and I don't see how that would happen unless it was a really crazy crash.
With the position it's in I feel like the seat belt would probably stop it, it would have to rotate really far for the keyboard to slip past and at that point I feel like it's more likely to be flung into the floor than the windshield
I mean wheatley's still pretty evil
Alternatively the intruder will just be so confused they'll decide to break into another house instead of figuring out what the foil does
Pinball was also third party, it was a free demo of Full Tilt Pinball. I still think it wasn't as bad but I would say it still counts as an ad
How is this a shower thought, this is just a weirdly specific prediction
I might try it out if it ever becomes open source but trebuchet is good enough at this point that I'm definitely not going to use a closed source launcher.
It's become really popular with trans people because it has the same colors as the trans pride flag
Or if you just symlink /usr, /opt, and /home to that usb drive. You may be asking why you wouldn't just mount partitions on the usb drive to those locations. This is not a question I will be answering
