  • Trump's draft dodging was one of the only good things he did. You're telling me you'd prefer if he helped dump agent orange across Vietnam and flatten communities older than the US itself?

You know the US were the bad guys, right?

  • This game has a snowballing issue.
  • Unranked. It really could just be that because I seem to get less seal clubbings (in both directions) in ranked.

It's a shame the slots are so limited rn because I really struggle to make time to be online for ranked at all.

  • This game has a snowballing issue.
  • I don't really want a surrender mechanic either because yeah it's lame and a copout, but I also don't want to spend 40 minutes being shit on or being useless either?

I don't know if it's MMR or something but recently my games have been someone on my team getting massive farm and dozens of kills to the point where it's a seal clubbing which I have no impact on, or it's the reverse where even despite coordinating one player is just so heavily fed by 10 minutes there's no way to catch up.

Ranked isn't so bad because of the coordination but the slots are limited and awkward if you work full time.

  • This game has a snowballing issue.

NB: This was just a post of me venting about two shit games back to back where the same player absolutely rolled through even when half of our team was pre-warned, but I wanna note that in general this trend of "one player gets fat then rolls the other team despite their best efforts" is something I'm noticing on my own teams too.

What am I meant to do when by luck or some other factor a player gets what you think is a meagre lead (1-2k) then spirals into an absolute seal clubbing?

When there's not surrender mechanic you're held ransom to ensure the winning team extracts their "fun" from having you feed into them until they decide playing TDM is enough and play the objectives?

I've had close games, equal games, games where we lose but it's a well fought, but recent updates have stuffed the MMR (or maybe cheating and smurfing is just common now?)

Reddit is profitable for the first time ever, with nearly 100 million daily users
  • So they sold their data for a one off payment and stuffed the platform with so many bots and astroturf accounts that it is effectively poisoned against being a reliable source for future AI data licensing.

Yeah they're so fucking cooked hahahahaha

  • Israel is in its death throes much like South Africa or Nazi Germany. The unlimited money for military equipment from Amerikkka is the only lifeline they have right now.

Just like previous fascist regimes, the leadership is reliant on endless wars of escalation to defeat their enemy in one final glorious battle, but every time they just spawn a bunch of new enemies that will lead to more escalation.

Unless Israelis topple the regime itself, this is going to burn more and more money, steel, and blood until it becomes truly unsustainable for the Zionist project.

  • Russia has a complicated relationship with Israel that is far from directly belligerent. They supposedly agreed to not fire on Israeli aircraft in return for Israel not bombing Russian troops in Syria.

That being said, Israel has few means to action their threats beyond an assassination attempt on Assad. The IDF probably could fight the SAA a lot easier than Hezbollah or Hamas but it'd be yet another difficult front line in an already deteriorating situation for Israeli military strength.

  • Getting matches on dating app Hinge but 98% of people don’t respond to messages
  • Dating apps are literally luck based. At some point you'll see someone you like and they'll like you back, sure, but in reality that person might not be looking right now, or might be on a date with someone else and ignore their other matches until it falls through, or they might have given up altogether.

The hardest thing, but the best thing imo, is to try and back off a bit: do a few swipes on a break at work or whatever and then ignore it for the day. Maybe a few messages then ignore it for the day.

As for meeting people (albeit platonically in my experience), there are loads of activities that people like to do and meet people. Stuff like board games cafés often host mixers. My partner does gymnastics at an adults class where she's met friends. I know others who do climbing, running clubs, all sorts. You can probably find something you like by searching up a hobby you enjoy and "mixer" or "social".

  • Does limiting things you actually enjoy help?
  • Yeah I've considered the idea of coming to peace with how my brain works. Which does just mean that sometimes I'll play one game/do one hobby for a while then drop it, but maintaining a strict regimen for consuming said hobbies is as exhausting as recovering from hyper focus.

Alternative/manual way to fix cloudflare-locked trackers on Prowlarr

If youve used Prowlarr, you might have experienced cloudflare blocking access to certain trackers.

There's a docker-based solution called cloudsolverr which automatically bypasses these cloudflare challenges by spinning up a headless chromium browser.

Main issue is it's heavy on resources (I have an rpi4b) and doesn't have an easy native setup (I've not had time to practice with docker stuff yet).

Is there a manual way for me to resolve these cloudflare challenges so I can add the trackers? It's mainly for public shit like 1337x just to fill out my access to TV shows where my other trackers fail or get rate-limited.
