Empire at War is a viable alternative while you wait for this.

5 0 ReplyI wish Empire of War had quicker AI turns. It’s my favorite one but you spend so much time waiting for AI turns to complete.
3 0 ReplySo many great mods for it and now is 64 bit

Oh man, a Total War: Lord of the Rings could be pretty badass.
13 0 ReplyThere's a fantastic LotR total conversion mod for TW: Rome. It was also ported to RW: Rome Remastered, so very easy to play even on modern hardware.
EDIT: Search for Lord of the Rings: Total War (Remastered) for the most recent version of the mod.

This sounds awesome. I enjoyed TW:WH quite a bit; their model works very well for non-historically-accurate settings, and I'd love to see them do more of these.
9 0 ReplyI don't know if they could do a non single world map. Or trust them anymore to make a good game(or bug free)

Once again mashing Total War with a franchise that has war in the title and utterly refusing to do the obvious.
6 0 ReplyTotal… Star Wars? Star total wars?

I'd be willing to bet that they are doing this to prepare for an eventual Total War : Warhammer 40K.
3 0 ReplyHopefully it'll be an improvement on Force Commander
2 0 ReplyBeen a while since I've seen that name. One of a long line of very meh Star Wars games.
