Notice how one of the underlying messages of the cartoon is that it's Zionist Karen that is the real antisemite: by deeming that those demonstrating against the killing of children are antisemite (literally: against Jews), she is implying that killing children is a Jewish thing to do.

This is very much the kind of racism displayed by those who equate anti-Israel with antisemitic: they're implying that Israel and its actions are all core Jewsih chracteristics, de facto slandering all Jews including those who disagree with Israel and/or its actio s, so they're the ones who by definition are antisemite.

This is of course an exaggeration and propaganda in itself. In real life, the sign (or others around it) would also have real anti-semitic aspects, if not outright calls for genocide against jews or israelis.

In turn, many people still seem to blindly support israel, and make stupid claims like there are no innocents in gaza, engage in propaganda (eg. here's a photo of a kebab stand in gaza, see, no food shortage!). Sigh.

There is an incredible amount of hate and racism that is spewed forth by a small minority of people, and that it is so readily accepted (and not called out) by many is worrying. We have cause for concern.

Thanks for the nuanced comment. Of course the signs don't only say 'stop killing of children in Gaza', but often 'from the river to the sea', which of course is antisemitism. Still, the way the IDF behaves has to be condemned – and more and more countries are acting. The support of Europe is crumbling due to Israels actions.
