Take Two has always owned and published the borderlands IP. Gearbox only developed it, they never owned the rights to it.
Unpopular opinion: GTA 5 and Online are impressive af and the hate has nothing to do with the actual state of the game.
I hope Embracer keeps the Borderlands 3 writers. Nothing of value would be lost.
