Lately, all Ive been getting are changes involving arbitration. Shit, I even got one from a fucking grocery store app.
I mean the best we got is Tesla. You see those damned things everywhere.
Theres been a ton of startups, but none of them are keeping up, or really trying to penetrate the market. Lucid was just aiming for the high end luxury segment. Fisker was dead on arrival. The only one thats really trying is Rivian, but theyre also focused on luxury, with some less expensive options years away.
Meanwhile, the big 3 are twiddling their thumbs. GM's got their EV platform, but the only car they got is a Cadillac. The Bolt is discontinued. Ford has the Mach E that no one wants, and I dont know what the hell Stellantis is doing.
The Japanese are behind as well, with only a couple of options from Toyota/Subaru, Nissan, and does Mazda even have anything?
Really, it seems like its the Koreans who are putting up the best fight.
As long as Chinese EVs arent sold in the US, I dont see these companies really stepping it up yet.

For me its kinda worth it. I can can next day or same day delivery, which is kinda nice when Im an impatient ass. Also I share it with my family, so we all make use of it.
If it were just me, definitely would not be worth it.
I notice a lot of stuff has paid shipping if you dont order the correct stuff.
I dont like it, but I can deal with ads while paused. But its also just an entry point for them to see how much they can sneak it. Its becoming cable TV all over again, with ads making their way in, despite paying for the service.

Yeah, I really hate how bready the crust is on frozen pizza. And thin crust pizza isnt for me.
At least most frozen ones Ive tried are usually terrible. Bready crust and lacking in toppings with a flavorless sauce.
But Ill usually do carry out over delivery.

Anyone else struggling to run SD XL? Im on an older PC with a 10 gig 3080, 32GB system RAM. Using automatic1111.
Loading up the model alone is a struggle, but I was able to get stable performance (and no nan errors, or out of memory errors) by using med vram and sdp attention (as opposed to xformers, which was having errors after a generating a few images).
The real weird part it will straight up freeze up trying to load the model, or generate an image - unless I minimize my browser. Then suddenly it starts working at a decent 2.8 it/s (1024x768, DPM++ 2M SDE KARRAS, 25 samples). Needless to say, I havent even attempted to use the refiner model, as switching/loading models takes several minutes.
Just curious what everyone's experience with trying to run SD XL so far has been? The output is awesome and playing with it has been pretty fun, but frustrating.
