Bold of German to assume that this guy could use a pair of scissors
Wish he would run with scissors :)
I doubt he can run.
Hmm, reminds me of a great Weird Al album...
Instead of tearing this down after yesterdays' carnival, maybe they should send it on a tour through the US.
Everyone already knows. His supporters like it.
That would get him just more votes.
Actually that's from the parade in Düsseldorf
Oops. Posted a correction.
Me, a fucking dumbass apparently:
Ha ha ha that was a long way to get there
I saw it in an other post where the perspective made it less obvious and I thought it was about how Trump is tearing the states apart, I guess it's both.
But Kölsch is still better than Alt
Have you had hefe weizen? Stupid small glasses of Kölsch that comes with a subscription service
Doppelbock is where it's at. hic
We all know that Hefeweizen is the best beer in the world, but don‘t change the subject. This man needs to be disciplined for his horrendous taste!
I dunno. Float rental fees might be helpful.
We could maybe set up a thing with UK's Diaper Trump, too.
I thought it was illegal to display anything Nazi related in public?
Only if the display is meant to glorify or show support for Nazis, which can but doesn't have to be displaying a swastika.
This is clearly criticism and satire, so it's covered under artistic freedom.
Interesting, danke! 🙂
Yeah, let's re-elect Brandon and keep killing tens of thousands of russians, palestinians, yemenians and with luck also chinese.
That's not nazi at all.
Yeah, so inconsiderate of Biden to send all those tens if thousands of Russians to their deaths round Avdiivka.
To pro-war attitude is out of control. Say what you will about Trump, but he's the first president since I've been alive that hasn't started any new wars during his presidency. The fact that no one cares about that really opened my eyes.
Say what you will about Trump, but he’s the first president since I’ve been alive that hasn’t started any new wars during his presidency.
Not for lack of trying
He set in motion many wars. Russia Ukraine? Was because of trumps actions that emboldened Russia(just recently encouraged russia to attack nato countries). Isreal Palestine? Trump moved the US embassy from tel Aviv to Jerusalem which just escalated tensions that probably helped kick off that. And his actions led to a insurrection in our own country and he continues to push the next Civil War and gives russia encouragement to start a war with nato. You must being staring into the sun if you can't see how much war Trump caused.
Ppl speaking always about Trump like 'did proly provoke', 'must've affected', 'would do worse'.
Meanwhile Brandon can be the butcher and we all blame it on the other guy.
It's ok to analyze what bad decisions Trump took, but you have zero respect for human life if you consider Biden a good politician.
Fuck your makeup wearing clown fuhrer you turncoat.
Ah yes, good old Opa Adolf. I remember when we were poisoning German Shepherds together. Such a nice guy.
Well, Hitler has only got one ball, so he shouldn't be the grandfather of ~12k feddit users ~5 generations later. He probably wasn't that fertile, LOL.
Is this a trump supporter with cognitive dissonace?
Hard to tell. This one's really really lost.
Just went through his comment history. He's one of those Querdenker. An absolute Clown, that no one can laugh about. Absolutely disgusting piece of shit.
Here's another one of the Carnival floats:
Oh Germany, you really get us. Can we let Germans vote in the next US election? After all, we're already letting Russia take a hand.
Actually, we have about as many Nazi fuckwits by percentage as the US. The difference is that we don't let them leverage 30% into an electoral majority.
Germany is more familiar than most about what the GOP has become.
I'm guessing it's a play on the Dolchstoßlegende? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stab-in-the-back_myth
To backstab someone as a metaphor for betrayal is as common in German as it is in English. So while the origin of the Dolchstoßlegende and this float are linguistically the same, I don't think this is a play on the Dolchstoßlegende.
Edit: I'm confident that they explicitly used a spear instead of a dagger to avoid a direct comparison.
No, no it isn't. Read about that topic, and reflect why this has nothing to do with the float.
