This one is really dependent upon whose wedding it is. I know a couple people that would love this.
99 0 ReplySeems like the perfect way to stage a polyamorous wedding.
67 0 ReplyNah. It's a great joke
62 0 ReplyHonestly, though. Like that’s how I know I invited the right people to the event.
32 0 ReplyAgreed that it's hilarious, but I'm pretty sure I've heard that if someone interrupts the portion, the officiater has to go through like.. a whole process legally because of it? I don't know if that matters realistically if he knows too and is cool though

Only do it if it's supposed to be part of the wedding. Otherwise, don't do it. It would be very disruptive and distracting and could make an otherwise beautiful moment very awkward. And it'd be something the bride and groom would have to remember for the rest of their lives every time they put on their rings.

That's not a very convincing argument to not do that every week at a random wedding.

I really should've kept that in there.

And then the wedding party goes on a quest to destroy it during the reception, perfect
18 0 Reply"dressed as Sauron" would also mean you would attract some attention before the ceremony, basically dressed as a giant burning vagina
16 0 ReplyWell now I wish I had thought of this for my wedding
10 0 ReplyNah better would be to yell at the best man to cast the ring into the fire!
9 0 ReplyOur friends wedding went exactly like this. As. It was a hobbit themed wedding.

A few too many commas in that line. Eh?
8 3 ReplyI mean you could put dashes on either side of “all of them” potentially instead of commas, but commas also work, especially in more poetic prose. Where would you straight-up remove a comma from the line?
4 0 ReplyCould use one more between "Sauron" and "and"
1 0 ReplyNo, that's normal. Might look strange for a native english speaker, but it definitely normal in othet languages.
