I had one of these that was Boba Fett. He had really big arms, and if I remember correctly, it came out of a kids meal from Taco Bell.

- I wanna make one those floating tables that works on this weird science.
  I could buy one, but I want to make one to better understand how it works because I just can't wrap my head around written or verbal explanations.

My dad had one made from metal with a guy who had his legs stretched out instead of the bird wings and I think you can guess what was used as the balance point.

- Nope. The wings are weighted so that the bird is perfectly balanced on its beak. You could set it on a pole and it would do the same thing, just didn't work on a table because the wings tail and belly would be what touched the table.
