Too bad he isn't coming in to the south. I know the danger of a typical magat idiot doing something harmful is higher. What we need here is to rally those of us who will never vote republican again to gather and see we are not alone. By doing so we can show those on the fence that its okay to vote against the magats

I hope Bernie and AOC can pull something together, because the rest of our “opposition” has less backbone than a single spaghetti noodle thats been boiling for a full day.
I also hope neither of them are disappeared to El Salvador, but I’m worried that AOC is gonna get the Navalny treatment sooner or later. That’s not to say I think she should stop. That’s to say that I genuinely think she should get some non-fascist veterans and 2A supporters to act as her non-federally-affiliated physical security, if she can.

Saw pictures of the turnout in Bakersfield. 4,000 people there is amazing.
- Considering the metro area is like 920k, that’s not actually a terrible turn out, but it does suggest that the momentum is not keeping up with the decline.

“Oligarchy” is quite a big word for conservatives. They probably think it has something to do with oil. (and I guess in a way, it does)

While he is doing well, the reality is if he doesnt break from democrat this will be a big scam when he will try to get these people to vote democrat if there is an election.
- We absolutely cannot afford to make a third party right now. That splits the vote and guarantees Republican dominance going forward.

  But the Democrats aren't going to start fighting for what the people want if voters keep voting Blue No Matter Who. We've seen them continuously run to the right, because they don't feel like they have to earn votes.
  I get what your saying, and I think there's some truth to it, but I've also seen the Democrats in action, and I can't say that I have any hope that they are going to suddenly change their ways. If they really don't want the 3rd parties to split the vote, then they should try adopting the policies that the 3rd parties are running on.

  Not just through primaries. There needs to be public pressure for the corpo Dems to step down and make way for new leadership that is truly progressive. Trump took over the GOP by converting its base: first through the Tea Party and then MAGA.
  
  Exactly. In my opinion the best hope for the US is that the democrats fix their party in some amount via primaries, then win next election with a strong majority and immediately reform the electoral system to something better which allows for more parties.
  
  Idk, I think there might be enough people on the right and left willing to change it up and vote for a workers party instead of what we have now. It seems plenty of people are sick of barely surviving as corporate oligarchs get richer, a new party could run on that.
  I know I'm ready for one. I've been losing faith in and respect for Democrats since the 2016 election and it's at an all time low.

If Democrats were going to save us they would have had decades ago instead of fighting for segregation but that was not a big enough red flag

After watching Bernie have a Palestine flag removed at one of his rallies, I'm less interested in being herded back to one of the controlled opposition parties.
Edit: I accept your down votes, but Palestine is a flashpoint issue. Capitalism has called for the destruction of a people. This has to be the line we draw. Bernie cannot expect to fight oligarchy while bowing down to Zionism. They are intrinsically linked struggles. Zionism is supported by the US because it positions Israel as a key outpost in one of the most oil rich regions in the world. The genocide is linked to the wars for oil. The constant fight for oil is a result of capitalism. You cannot be a socialist and support Israel. It is antithetical to the values of socialism.

  As far as I can recall, first go around the dnc denied him access to some voter data which was given to him 24 hours later, and then he lost because he didnt do well with black voters in southern states.
  And in 2020 Biden offered Buttitege a cabinet position if he'd drop out and endorse him, the most normal political shit that happens every primary, then bernie lost because black voters in southern states voted again for the centerist.
  It's fun and emotionally rewarding to imagine the DNC as an evil entity single handedly stopping Bernard Joseph Sanders from saving the world, but the reality is that a key demographic for getting the nominee just doesn't trust democratic socialism and Bernie has never managed to change their mind on that.
