What's something you're looking forward to atm?

I'm going to see my best friend in America in autumn. I can't wait! I've already bought clothes for it and we're planning things to do

- Where are you going? How long will you be here? Are you planning to do some traveling or staying mostly in their city/state? Is this your first time here?
  
  10 days! She's in a really fun city but I won't say which one, just that the weather will be niiiiicceee and I'll need suncream but it won't be unbearable. We might travel but we've only got vague plans for that atm. I've been a few places in America and I have LOVED it each time.

Getting married about this time next year

Ordering a split keyboard. I've been looking at several options on !mechanical_keyboards@programming.dev, I think I now know which one I want
- I had to Google what that was... what's the advantages?
  
  Split keyboards are generally better for ergonomics as you can have your hands at a better angle and distance

Next weekend. Got a couple things planned I'm excited for.

  I plan to attend the big, monthly, bicycle cruise and i haven't been in a while. It will be a bit cold but i have the itch!
  Then, I planned a little watch-party with friends for the MotoGP race. That is exciting and will be fun.
  But there's one more thing that I'm excited and a little anxious for that I'm hesitant to say for fear of it blowing away. 😶

I'm gonna be doing a homestay in the summer to improve my language skills. First time living with strangers and hopefully communicating almost entirely in target language: German. Got 4 months to prepare. I'm trying to learn as much as possible. Excited and nervous.
- Not to dampen your mood, but you might have to actively bring the Germans to speak German with you, they tend to immediately switch to their own broken English, although, it might also be a super fluent English depending on whom you met

  Although the whole purpose is to practice language for me and the host is aware of that so I'll try as much as possible to stick to German. My German is somewhere around the low B1 high A2 range. Hopefully 4 months can make it confidently B1. Idk
  Oh and another thing. The types of people who immediately switch to fluent English are young people in cities. This is gonna be some small town in southern Germany. Hopefully their English isn't great either haha.

I've got some very nice tea (an Anhui "golden flower" black tea) coming in a couple of days. I'm looking forward to that because golden flower tea is almost unbearably tasty.

Visiting Paris next week for the first time. Trying to get slightly fluent asap with the Michel Thomas discs. Haven't planned well enough, it's going to be a mess.

Remodeling a house and can't wait to move in - hoping for May, but probably June. I'm so excited about having my bed and coffee machine on the same level!

I found from table runner patterns and I've started working on making some for the TV stand and what have you. I haven't had the energy to work on crafts, so I'm just excited I want to do it at. I can't wait to complete something again.

A few TV shows are the closest I get.

Not looking forward to ass to mouth anything, honestly.
