corruption charges means he must've fucked up so incompetently

- He probably won't actually be in jail for 11 years. Unless he somehow accidentally managed to help a member of the Asiatic Hordes™.
Lol. I think it's fair to say that any US Senator, and especially a US Senator who is on important committees, must rank decently high up on the "list of the most powerful people on the Earth." To go from that to this is quite the fall from grace.
