  Years ago - a "self pardon" was only a theoretical question that a law professor could answer with smirk if not a laugh. But now with a toxic, fundie, reactionary GOP 6-3 majority on the supreme court willing to do whatever to help Trump - the answer is surely "probably" if not a straight up "yes".
  
  As far as anyone knows, it's an Air Bud rule situation

for those at home keeping score, Clyburn was the centerpiece/figurehead of the DNC maneuvering that rat fucked Bernie in the 2020 primaries after it became clear in NV he was going to run away with it... sending Chris Matthews into an emotional tailspin on live TV claiming that Bernie was going to execute journalists in Central Park.
it's insane how much as happened in those 4 years. in 2020, I would've said that's absurd, nobody wants that. today, I would vote for someone who ran exclusively on a platform of publicly executing Chris Matthews in Central Park and then go there to buy merch and overpriced hotdogs.
