It is unlikely that the former MP, who lost her seat at the general election in July, will see the funny side. In August she abruptly left an event, saying it was “not funny” when a banner placed by campaign group Led by Donkeys descended behind her during an event to promote her book which had a picture of a lettuce and the slogan “I crashed the economy”.
I understand that mine is an entirely subjective and emotive opinion, but I hardly think being followed about by the Led By Donkeys mob and being made to look silly twice a year, is comparable to the hundreds of thousands (if not millions, I don't have the stats) of folk who had their mortgages go up ten per cent after the markets got kami-Kwasi'd in the sum total of twenty minutes.
Fuck right off Liz, enjoy your tainted career and seeing lettuces in comedy places for the rest of your life.
You see it's not her fault though. It's the markets fault, it's full of lefty liberal investment capitalists and for no reason at all they ruined her genius plan.
This needs to be her legacy and not just something we forget in five years. For the rest of her living life she needs to be reminded of this. And especially when she still refuses to understand her involvement in this.
