Trump being outed as a pedophile won’t even remotely shake the support of the religious right.
They already sold their souls on the altar of a golden calf. They’re too proud to admit it.
- No they're fanatical. He could be doing it right in front of them and they'll give the "god works through imperfect vessels" line
- They built a literal golden idol of trump at CPAC a couple years ago. They've traded God for trump.
- Golden calf is such a perfect metaphor.
- The religious right prefers their leadership to be child molesters. There's like no other conclusion that can be drawn from how they protect priests who do so.
