If I understand correctly, the only way to access the playtest is by getting an invite through Steam from someone who already has access.
So, simple question. Will someone be so kind to invite me?
Maybe we can turn this thread into a general thread for requests like mine. I am sure there are many folks out there who would like to play.

They patched it so the invite can only go to someone you have been friends with for 30 days now.

I can confirm this is not the case as recently as the last hour.
Where did you get that info from? I can still invite people that just got added to my friends list

I was told that by someone else trying to invite people and it gave an error.
That might have been because the account was limited, in that case i get an error too.
This rumour has been doing the rounds for a while but is demonstrably false. I invited someone yesterday that I only just added to my friends list, and they got their playtest invite today.
