If you take lump sum and not the 30 year annuity, you take about a 50% hair cut off the prize money alone.

I think my point is she did real time in prison (like 5 years?). And if your concern is that someone who steals 10k gets more time, my question is:

Does she deserve more time or do they deserve less?

This forum likes to decry inhumane sentences which is great, but I hope you can see the misalignment in views when the same hive mind wants her to be locked away for much longer.
