What are the ethics of using machine learning (GANs and diffusion models) to change art styles of pictures?
[AI] Why are most LLMs decoder-only, and not encoder-only or encoder-decoder, in relation to transformer type?
Why people keep saying that Ubisoft is no longer a good video game company, like they were in the past?
Why Greek, Roman and Norse mythologies are overused, where others rarely get used?
Update: I confused name variants with names in the final part🤦
E.g. Tartarus instead of Tartaros, Daedalus instead of Daidalos, Cerberus instead of Kerberos, Cassandra instead of Kassandra... There are a lot of these names that are more widely used in their Romanized forms. Yet if we talk about mythological names instead the Greek names are more widely used (althrough this was different over 200 years ago)
E.g. reference designs, sizes, etc.
Does this mean that they can be used in any platform regardless on whether they are officially supported by the design language's creators?
What are the best Halloween-themed music for today?

e.g. Can a software use a naming scheme based on Genshin characters, WoW locations/zones, etc. for their version codenames?
Since they don't have any useful value other than providing entertainment to the user, why they exist?
Sadly these two games are exclusive to Nintendo platforms, is there a way to play them on a Xbox Series S through emulation, using a legitimate (not pirated) copy?
That's a feature added in Android 12 that changes the apps themes based on the wallpaper. While other OS'es like Windows 10 and 11 have a similar feature, on Android it's more complete and app backgrounds etc. are also tinted based on the wallpaper's colors as well. Why they haven't implemented a similar feature in their OS?
Additionally, a few years ago, I have seen a post on Reddit about a town in Canada whose streets were named after Warcraft universe locations. (I have forgotten the post but it was really about this)

That was about AI generated artworks actually.
I couldn't get a real answer to this question. Can just the layouts be reused with everything else (i.e. overall design) being original?
Colors can be trademarked in conjunction with certain services. Does this applies to UIs of computer programs as well?
What comics (including webcomics) have the most distinctive art?
E.g. virtual keyboards, word processor, etc. Extensions for web browsers etc are also acceptable. Platform (PC, mobile) doesn't matter.
According to MetaCritic, Zelda: Breath of the Wild topped "best games of the 2010s" lists, appearing in 1st place in 17 of these lists. In 2030, what game of the 2020s decade will appear on the 1st place in most of these lists? (It should be noted that we are in the middle of the 2020s decade so this may change as new games get released).
Historical figures, too many to specify
P.S.: Do you agree with me that the art styles of Hades and Genshin Impact are hard to recreate? I may be wrong but since I'm not an artist at all, I may be right too.
Furthermore, if the selection of games was restricted to games released in the last 5 years, what game would you choose? (This is separate from the main question)
@MisterNeon@lemmy.world Reproducing by performing a study on the art style and then drawing something original using the style.
Since I'm a mythology fan, I will mention that among mythology themed games from the 2020s, only Hades (and the upcoming sequel) will be still talked about in 2040.
To the authorities.
Both.
If you are interested in the historical vote split for past awards, just go to the article linked in my post and look under the "Awards and ceremonies" section. Then look for the awarded games between 2014 (the year that The Game Awards launched) and now.
For example, the art style of the anime Blood of Zeus. How would this be described? While it's "anime" it has a specific style and not generic "anime".
Not to mention shadowbanning. Even through Reddit introduced account suspensions as an alternative to shadowbans in 2015, they still shadowban users today, especially newly registered users.
