This is pretty complicated, I think much more so than what you've said reflects.
First, if you can stop DO IT NOW. Any benefit you think you're getting is a rationalized illusion and the risks FAR outweigh any possible benefits. It is irrational, foolish, and truly dangerous to continue smoking, especially if you can stop. If you need to remind yourself of the downsides and risks of tobacco use google some images and read some first hand accounts. It is NOT a joke that tobacco KILLS. STOP playing Russian roulette if you can.
I smoked and/or chewed tobacco for most of my adult life and feel fortunate that I was able to quit a little over 10 years ago. It was not easy for me to quit. I had tried to quit many times over the years. I took a class about quitting and finally did. I hope for good.
I do believe that some people are more affected and/or addicted to nicotine than others. I had girlfriends that would smoke at the bar and nowhere else, which really pissed me off because I COULD NOT do that. BUT, there is no good understanding about this. Maybe these people are not far enough into the habit to be addicted. It seems unclear if some are really resistant to nicotine addiction and I have NO doubt that it is not worth trying to find out.

This whole thing is confusing to me.
For me, gen X, growing up it was this:
Sweatshirt: Non-hooded OR hooded and shirt shaped with NO zipper but made of material that is "fleece"-like on one side and smooth-ish on the other.
Jacket: zippered thing, long sleeves, usually made of plastic or nylon but the purpose was to wear OVER your clothes as a windbreaker and/or to keep you warm.
Hoodies did not exist. Things like a sweatshirt, jacket, coat or shirt might have a hood.
Now, I do not know what the fuck to call shit.
That is a fucking jirt. Shirtet. Sweatjack. Hoodet. Sweatie. Jackie.
This kinda rocks my world. I never thought of it being based on the material, no wonder I've always found the whole hoodie / sweatshirt / sweater / jacket think confusing.

I was not just making a joke, amigo. I am old enough that I used this stuff back in the day. I graduated from dialing into BBSes on my Commode 64 to this stuff. And I am amazed and happy that it is still around.
Mine is the computer. I continue to be amazed at what we can do with them.
Right now it seems like its "A.I.". Still big now are the wars in the Middle East and Ukraine. Recently we had COVID 19.
What's next?
Most are probably too young to remember but nanotechnology was supposed to be the most super amazing thing ever.

Phones could allow much higher security if they supported 2 factor authentication. This could be face/fingerprint along with a typed or swiped password. This seems like a simple solution that leverages software that is already implemented. Just make it an added option in addition to the existing one

I'm looking to buy more CDs and expand my depth and breadth of metal music appreciation. Instead of "greatest hits" I'd like a studio (or live) album that is a shining example of a great band.
I'll start: Ratt: Out of the Cellar Listen
This was Ratt's breakthrough hit and debut album that put them on the map. Several hits on this disc like "Round and Round". Also a couple great songs that were not hits like "Lack of Communication" and "I'm Insane".

I would like to recommend Vector Pinball to anyone with even a passing interest in video pinball or video games.
I find this game to be very impressive, even more so as a free app on F-droid. I need to send this dev some cash, I have probably put \>200 hours into this game and I am really enjoying it.
Things I like: Physics are perfect. 8 boards Each board plays very uniquely. Great depth of play, the boards are complex and take some work to unlock/see everything. Addictive. Some boards are very difficult. Unique look with vector graphics. Reminds me of Tron. Pretty good music.
Things I don't like: My phone doesn't have pinball buttons. Doing that on the screen is a bit awkward. Workable but awkward. The ball can pass between your flippers with no chance to hit it. Often normal for pinball, this always annoys me. I think I should always have some chance to hit and save the ball. Show me my score and high scores as soon as I finish a game. I should not have to press a button or wait for the scrolling to see these.
