Ask Lemmy @lemmy.world

What's appealing about people who are seen as extrovert but describe themselves as introvert?

Off My Chest @lemmy.world

Right now, I have a headache and chest pain because of the review process for submitting a project to GNU Savannah. I still acknowledge that the review process is beneficial in the long run.

  • Currently, only the top floor is blocked off. The 2nd floor is actively used for Devil's Inkwell and one or more other things. All parts of the 2nd floor's hallway is accessible. Was there previously a middle area of the 2nd floor, instead of only near the building's perimeter?

YSK that if you catch someone plagiarizing on a school assignment, it might be a fun opportunity to expose a bigger for-profit plagiarism scheme. Especially if the student is suspiciously defensive.

  • "Savannah is a software forge for free software" was a poor choice of words. Absence of the "open source" label is not part of the free/libre software definition, but rather it's part of behavior that promotes the free/libre software philosophy, which Savannah also enforces.

  • Don't ask Richard Stallman to view a non-printed webpage.

  • Support for both iOS and GNU + Linux is a noteworthy convenient feature of a syncing system, but I'm more focused on what's currently available on GNU + Linux, which probably needs to be built upon to replicate Apple's level of quality.

  • I've seen chipping on two black plastic Hydro Flask wide mouth lids, and it looks unsafe.

The last time I drank out of a reusable bottle, I felt a string-like thing on my tongue, and when I grabbed it out, it was black, and way too thick to be hair. I don't know for sure where it came from, and I'm only 80% sure it's a problem with the bottle or lid.

The metal version of the Hydro Flask wide mouth lid has a 1-star review about "yummy metal shavings".

  • Oh, seems like I didn't consider the possibility that the href value I saw in the inspector is dynamically generated.
