Sketchbook - Museum TV

Hello,

I am trying to find sources for the Sketchbook series over on Museumtv. I've searched the usual sources and nothing came up for this seemingly obscure website.

I have a trial account on it but it's gonna expire soon, and manually downloading the m3u8 streams and stitching them together (no master m3u8) is a pain.

I appreciate any help!

What's that fictional world and story you've been batting around inside your head?
  • The dishonored universe is constantly residing in my head. One story I think would be interesting is where Corvo uses the cut power (Void House) that allows him to take a respite from battle. It could be set in a canon level or a random encounter that leaves him pretty shaken up, so he needs to recover. If you want to see what I'm talking about, here's a link.

  • What is something you get worse at, the more you do it?
  • Sysprep can reset the activation clock a max number of 3 times. You can set SkipRearm to 1 and it no longer does this, but of course the activation clock isn't reset, which 'defeats' continued reactivation. You learn something new every day I guess. See Serverfault - Does doing sysprep too many times cause issues?

  • Any tips and tricks?
  • Thanks for the tips. I only ever used the flare gun against a bear and I missed somehow, but very good to know it's a handy weapon to always have with me. I think I'll end up not carrying the rifle and just packing a bow and flare gun. I can always scare wolves with the bow (or aiming anything for that matter) and hunt small game with fire hardened arrows.

  • Any tips and tricks?

Have you got any essential or lesser known tips and tricks for this game? I'm currently playing on a custom Voyageur run to get the hang of the regions. I'm at day 36 and ventured out from Desolation Point to Hushed River Valley, got attacked by a moose and almost died. Things are going well! That said, I would appreciate some interesting tips!

Are there any guides to living?

    Hello,

I was wondering if there exists any objective, high-quality guides to doing various human-stuff like showering, properly eating, integration in society, basically anything that can be thought as interacting with the real world.

Maybe there's a wiki for such stuff? A weird request, for sure, but I am wondering if there's an overall better way to do common stuff.

I've found the worst case scenario handbook to be very useful, but more material is always better.

Thank you for your replies! I learned a lot of useful stuff here. Also, the context is simply that I want to know if there are more efficient ways of doing things. Initially I was looking for a highly curated collection of things, but I realized it's simply not possible to give a complete primer on life. That's what other people are for. Thanks again for all the help.

Looking over to Switzerland from France
  • Unfortunately flats are the most common thing I get and suck most at fixing on the road. I used to pack way too many tools than were necessary simply because one time my chain got stuck between the hub and frame, and I didn't have any tools with me.

Never thought about the mount-ability of those little straps since I always seem to have a spot for them on any bike I rode. It sucks to not have proper mounting, especially when doing a trip like this!

Ah, maybe that's due to the weather you had there. In my experience some ticks always seem to end up on my legs going through dense forests.

Thank you for the info, I appreciate it a lot!

  • How can I go about using the tty only on my system
  • Like others said, you can try installing Arch manually (not with the install script). You get the hang of the terminal and you get to see a bit more of how Linux works under the hood. The wiki is your friend, spend some time reading it!

  • Looking over to Switzerland from France
  • I see, a pretty nice selection of stuff! Did your bike break down at all through the trip? And did you find your tools to be adequate?

I'm thinking of making a trip like this, but not international, only around my country. Curious on what to expect maintenance wise.

Did any insects bother you, while cooking or while sleeping?

  • What are your favourite locations?

What are your favourite locations/regions in this game?

Mine is definitely the Lonely Lighthouse out in Desolation Point. It's such a cozy little place and a cool shelter to have. Desolation Point in general is an interesting region.

Leafy climbing/viny plant for natural arches

Hello everyone! What are some fast growing leafy plants that could extend from wooden supports every 4 Meters or so? I'm looking to make a pretty long natural walkway with some sort of shade overhead. I think fast growing plants are the best option. Is there something leafy enough to cross 4 meters?

I'm in a wet temperate climate.

    The newest 'old' laptop?

I'm talking abundant I/O, great repairability/easy to open, maintain. A laptop from back when laptop manufacturers didn't hate us.

The closest I got was a dell latitude 5500 which has decent I/O and a pretty modern processor.

If Lenovo were to make a modern T42 or something like that, not sparing the ports.
