  • Of course not.

Khalil isn't even of any real note to the autocrats who are taking over the government. He's ultimately just a test case, to set the precedents for the likely millions of people who are going to end up being imprisoned and even killed for the "crime" of holding opinions different from the officially sanctioned ones.

  • I share your fascination.

I maintain that if Microsoft hadn't bought out Digital Anvil, Star Citizen wouldn't even exist because Roberts would still be working on Freelancer.

And the thing is that Freelancer is still one of my all-time favorite games. Even with its turn-of-the-century low poly models, it still stands up even today.

He really does have a tremendous vision for truly epic games. He just doesn't know when to stop...

  • Asked to explain the system by which Trump's officials determine that the individuals are, as charged, part of the Tren de Aragua gang, a spokesman responded, "Wull lookit "em! They's furriners, jus' like them Tren de whatsits, an' ever'one knows they's all crimnuls!"

  • Opposing genocide isn't an extremist position.

Defending genocide is in fact the extremist position. It's also a loathsome, vile and wholly evil position, fit only for psychopaths and disgusting pieces of shit.

    Like, apparently, Michael Rapaport.

  • Despite the dramatic announcement, Green's effort lacks support from Democratic leadership. A senior House Democrat told Axios that Green's impeachment articles would go nowhere.

Democratic Representative Pete Aguilar echoed this sentiment, saying, "This isn't a focus of the Democratic Caucus."

So what exactly is a focus of the Democratic Caucus?

As near as I can tell, their focus is entirely on registering just barely enough tepid opposition to the plutocrats' agenda to avoid looking too much like blatant collaborationists and.... that's about it.

  • So I'm curious - does your pretzel logic extend to other situations?

Imagine... John and Bob both want to buy a used car, and they both know that the other wants it too. Bob makes a better offer and gets to buy the car. Is John then justified to shoot him and take the car by force?

Or is that a right you reserve exclusively for Russia?
