Currently have CyberSecurity degree. I'm finding it difficult to get a job in the field without relevant experience of having a job in the field. How can I get experience to get the job that requires experience?

I work retail right now as a manager and although I have a skillset for it, have made great strides, and have changed the company in a few ways for the better, it's not my desire to stay in this path.

I have always used ad blockers and whatnot. I used a friends phone to show them something and was blown away by the web. Wtf happened? I knew it was bad but damn. It's like playing a fucking minigame to use the web.
At home I'm hardcore. I use noscript to essentially white-list the things I want to see.

I would have to disagree on this one. Working in the auto industry has helped me see that they do help in long term circumstances. Like every 20k miles or so. Knocks off some of the impurity burn offs that stick on the valves.

Got into a discussion and I recalled that Rick and Morty was watched on porn hub and other non porn shows and stuff.
I've always used Windows and am super comfortable with it. I have set up a dual boot with fedora but don't use it because I have never identified a need to use it. I see a lot of windows hate, so what does Linux have that I need? What can motivate me to migrate? What is a good Linux to have for a desktop + steam?
