Yeah, and I mean, even most car traffic doesn't fit into this ridiculous definition. People take their car to just do recreational stuff all the time.
I mean, holy fuck, how else would you get there than via streets in some fashion? Take the helicopter from your roof?
Also falls man keine Möglichkeit hat, ein festes Bidet zu installieren, aber auch nicht ganz die Ghetto-Lösung will, dann kann man sich auch ein Reisebidet zulegen.
It annoys me, too, because there's various open-source projects already, like QMMP and Audacious.
No, that's not a generic speech to me. In that case, you're motivating a specific political issue and trying to convince anyone who's still on the fence. Contentious political issues have always been excluded from the ceremony speeches I attended.
Man, this shit is going to cause some political instability. Like, yeah, the guy spent multiple years learning a job which is obsoleted a decade later. He might be able to pivot to game design, but that might be obsoleted in yet another decade. Who even knows at this point?
Going into retail or some craftsmanship job, that's probably going to be a safer bet, because robots still have a farther path to go, but those jobs already pay badly today. Even more people looking to do these jobs isn't going to help.
Yeah, I think, we'll have to agree to disagree on that one. I know, I'm on the extreme side with never having liked such a ceremony. I think, it's because I simply stop feeling represented with the kind of generic speech you get when addressing more than a dozen people, because I guess, I'm just too special of a snowflake...
Wow, ich dachte echt, wie hat der denn Nährwerte mit eingerechnet? Aus dem Pro-Kopf-Verbrauch an Cheeseburgern die dafür nötige Menge an Futtermais hergeleitet?
Man, can you imagine, the meaningless platitudes that are normally said at these ceremonies, but it's not even a human speaker, but rather an overengineered loudspeaker.
Well, lots of us were parented to not throw food away. Just the thought of someone always cutting off the crust when they're eating bread, that does irk me in that sense, too.
But as someone else in this thread already said, with proper bread, the crust is actually good. Then it just seems really strange to cut off the interesting part of the bread and to just want the samey stuff in the middle.
Oh boy, you're possibly in for a treat. I didn't notice this for far too long either, but the UK flag is at a complete wonk:
It's got rotational symmetry, but if you just flip it vertically, the thin red stripes will be the wrong way around.
Not part of the EU...
As an anti-mow person, I don't care, if it's a wildflower meadow. I don't call random plants "weeds", they're all cool with me. Like, alright, if you've got a super-invasive foreign species that's actively killing the local ecosystem, then I'm on board with doing something against that. But it can hardly be worse than mowing the local ecosystem.
Where I live: Plasticizers are really unhealthy, we should be avoiding them for food packaging.
Meanwhile in this person's life: Would you like some grape flavor with your plasticizers?
Simplify compliance by not using Google services. They're frequently in violation of the GDPR.
Wenn sie das bei dir nicht sein sollten, dann wäre mindestens auch deine Teilnahme vollkommen freiwillig. Wenn dein Chef dich anweist, teilzunehmen, dann muss es vergütet werden.
I've had customers send passwords to me, plain-text, over chat. Frankly, that end-to-end-encryption is not considered basic security for chat applications, that's just beyond me.
I'm definitely willing to believe that they've got monorail-like flanges. That would probably help with stabilizing. But where the hell are you able to see a picture of the wheels? There's a few angles in the video which quickly show the wheels, but I can't actually see much anyways. 🫠
That's the bloom shader effect: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bloom_(shader_effect)
But yeah, some people might refer to that as "bloom filter", although it's not what's meant here.
Honestly never saw that shape in Adobe's logo. It always just looked bad to me. But I could see someone thinking that former Delta logo is an improved Adobe logo, so I'll allow it.
Yeah, that's quite possible, that they offer it for marketing. Maybe also to give municipalities an option to try out the system for a few months and see, if it attracts much interest. If it doesn't, you can just pack up the pods and cranes, and market it to the next city.
I was mainly confused how off-handedly this gets mentioned in the article, as if that was clearly the logical method for moving a vehicle from one place to another...
Somehow we forgot how to center rectangles and must find our way back
Hi, I just read online that you can apparently run apt --fix-broken install
.
I wanted to know, what that really does, but both apt --help
and man apt
only show a high-level summary of the subcommands and flags. The --fix-broken
flag is never mentioned, and presumably many others neither.
Is there some way to access documentation for all subcommands and flags?
Hi, the default Roboto font is boring me out of my mind and I'd like to change it.
In the past, I've done so by just replacing the font file in the OS, which worked well, but meant that it would reset after every OS update. I'm considering scripting that with ADB to make it less of a pain, but figured I should ask, if there's a better way.
I'm on LineageOS which has a font styling system, but it only applies to the OS, not the user-installed apps...
