I don't get the hate. A 1st person moba sounds fucking fire. Added bonus that it's valve's community.

- Sounds fire? So surely you've heard of Smite then? Or Paragon? Or Paragon: Overprime? Or Predecessor?
  
  I thought about mentioning Smite myself, but it's over-the-shoulder, not 1st person. From a quick Google, Paragon and Predecessor seem to be the same.

  I've seen pre-alpha gameplay and it's currently 3rd person. Maybe they'll change it though. Valve tends to test heavily and make lots of changes over time before release.

- I’m not big into multiplayer games, but I have noticed that lemmy and Reddit just get very pessimistic whenever a beloved company announces a multiplayer game

- It's just an attention grab. There are literally 4 screenshots of this new game that have been leaked. There's basically no info about it. To say it's a clone of another game is ridiculous. Like saying it's a clone of Doom because it has guns.

billions of dollars and still no indication of half life 3 come on gaben just make it bug free and well optimized on release its gonna be a hit since most triple a games these days are half baked rushed products
