It bombed? It seems like it made over 300 million with a 100 million budget. It also wasn't terrible. It felt like they took two separate movies and stuck them together because there wouldn't be enough content for 1 movie, but it had enough interesting stuff for a watchable movie.
I knew nothing of the 4th movie except that it was a prequel about Snow. Took a chance and saw it in the theater and was pleasantly surprised. Made me want to actually read the 4th book but I haven't gotten around to it yet.
