They randomly threw in the crack epidemic in the article as spmething causing boomers to transition in and out of homelessness. Which is like kind of true, but also it's not an externality. I don't know why they need to seek out "externalities" which "cause" poverty and homelessness. Well, I do, because they want to pretend this shit isn't caused by capitalism.
