No argument there. But there's a lot of fuckery involving a large percentage of elected officials. Singling out one for this particular action seems more like the poster having an agenda than having an issue with the bill.
i suspect it works similar to how facebook works (or used to?): whatever tickles you to interact with it more, will be placed on your page or whatever...
but that is something that every webpage and app should avoid doing. i dont think tiktok is special here. i mean, sure one might argue the chinese government probably has a hand in this, but that would be speculation. and also, the us government is banning apps it doesnt like, so in my opinion: yeah, everyone except (most of) the users are assholes here
In Germany it's turning the kids fascist, our nazi party is apparantly big on there and the rest of the politicians are sleeping in the "new" internet thing as usual.
Don't know what they said, but it's ironic you're censoring dissenting opinions in a post about how it's bad the president of the US gets to censor apps.
