You'll crave alcohol less, you're hangovers will be barely noticeable and pleasant, tastes great, is better for you than beers or rum and soda. Because they don't taste good and fermented mushrooms have an off-putting texture? I like the flavor of most edible mushrooms but the psylosibe are not tasty.
Microdosing is something I'd really like to try though, it probably WOULD be a really nice energy drink, something that just opened you and woke you just a little not bash you over the head psychedelic.

Psilocybin degrades in the presence of water and heat. It's a pretty delicate compound. Pasteurization would destroy it from the outset and even if methods were developed to preserve its potency, it wouldn't be psychoactive within a few days. People do make alcohol extracts of magic mushrooms that are (allegedly, haven't done it myself) fairly shelf stable. So there may be some room to play with that. But booze and psilocybin are antagonistic so if.youre trying to trip and get drunk from the same source, you'll either wayyyy overdo the psilocybin or get so drunk it reduces the effects of your trip

No, not poisonous. It's the about the quantity and quality. Large quantities of the cheapest vodka you can get usually means that you are a hardcore alcoholic or you are on a serious mission to get as blasted as you possibly can in as short of a time as you can.
Not many people but large jugs of cheap vodka because they like the taste. (Some do, though.)

What does hatred for others here mean? Is it how much drinking the beverage defies social norms or is it how much alcohol the beverage contains?
Probably just related to famous authors with dark world views drinking Gin. Though, I'd say Absinthe should then be up there as well.
I interpreted that as how likely you are to fight somebody while drinking that.
