I've always tried to find good flashlights, but seem to fail almost every time. The best flashlights I've got are actually little tiny rechargable ones I got for my bike.

The main things I care about are:

• rechargable
• long lasting battery
• decent brightness

Would be nice features:

• usb-c charging
• replaceable battery

Things I would love to see, but almost never do, are:

• not having to toggle through every damn brightness and flashing setting and just be able to turn on/off with a single button
• red, orange, or yellow setting so I don't fuck up my night vision

Are these things unreasonable? Am I just crazy?

Holy crap. Not been able to afford a new light for a while. Still running my Fenix UC35. They've come along way, this would be a nice upgrade!

I haven't handled a Nitecore light in ages. I did have a 2xCR123 one back in my Boy Scout days. No idea what happened to it.
