Drops it on your face in the middle of the night while it sits on your chest staring at the chaos it created.

Annoyingly, my cat has zero interest in spiders. Any other bug from silverfish to houseflys, she loves to hunt, but not spiders.
Guess what the one bug I'm afraid of is.

Well your cat is smart and knows that the spiders are cooperating with it to hunt all the other bugs :)

Same. If my cat finds a spider it just touches it gently with it's paw and just stares at it till it goes away. Too slow I guess?

Good guy cat, doesn't attack the bug you're afraid of because it attacks much worse bugs.
