Buying a a vehicle as expensive as a cyber truck without it ever being a real product, nevermind being able to actually take it for a test drive is not exactly indicative of someone who makes good life choices.

"Vicarious shame" is a hilarious phrase I've never heard, and such a perfectly concise description. I'm stealing that. Just reading it made me remember my most recent feeling of that and turn a little red.
