sometimes means every time
  • I don't like that news... It doesn't sound wholly wrong but I do focus too much, daydream (it's more getting lost in my own thoughts than dreaming), and I'm very bad at finding things in looking for.

  • The Borg assimilated much of the Internet when they captured other human technologies and culture.
  • I never liked the idea of a Borg queen. It feels too foolish to have a single point of failure like that.

The whole point of the Borg was they strip you of individuality, but the existence of a queen puts the individual above the collective. There are many protocols the Borg could use to resolve conflicts at very fast speeds, deferring to the queen who made a ton of bad choices was not a good idea.

  • Oh wow another one
  • Liberator Ricochet (bouncy bullets)

    Liberator Sonic (concussive waves)

Liberator Liberty (fires sparkly rounds and plays music)

Liberator Hollow Point (additional damage to soft targets)

    Liberator Destructor (fires acidic rounds)

Liberator Sub zero (freezes enemies on hit, slowing them down. It may increase the computation speed of bots though)

Liberator Scorpion (fires a grappling book that pulls your enemies close while saying "get over here")

Liberator Classic (you'd think this is the same liberator as normal, but it actually has more sugar and less caffeine)

Liberator Oppressor (has 96 small caliber rounds per magazine to suppress your target)

  • Ontario underspending on social services by $3.7B: watchdog
  • The thing that frustrates me is my dad votes conservative, they underfund things and withheld specific health funding while attacking the rights of nurses, then he complains it takes forever to see a doctor and flies to Mexico and pays there.

Except his children can't just fly to Mexico, we're stuck with it.

It's so frustrating that they're allowed to withhold this funding while shelling out hundreds of millions to private companies to sell beer and liquor at gas stations.

  • Why Canadians are angry with their biggest supermarket
  • I went into superstore and the produce and meat sections were awful.

All the produce was near expiry, the potatoes had eyes growing and were soft, the onions had holes in them. I just left, I couldn't pay those prices for produce with days left on their life.

    Metro was immediately better.

  • How come Data has rights but not the legacy EMH?

I just watched Measure of a Man, they rule Data has the right to choose. But in Voyager the EMH gets relegated to forced servitude. Why? Doesn’t that violate precedent?

Poilievre says 'biological males' should be banned from women's sports, change rooms and bathrooms

Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre stepped into the debate over trans rights on Wednesday, saying "biological males" should be banned from women's sports, change rooms and bathrooms.

"Female spaces should be exclusively for females, not for biological males," Poilievre said in Kitchener, Ont.

The Conservative leader made the comments after being asked if, as prime minister, he would introduce legislation to prevent "transgender women" or "biological men" from participating in female sports or entering female prisons and shelters.

"A lot of the spaces … are provincially and municipally controlled, so it is unclear ... what reach federal legislation would have to change them," Poilievre said.

"But obviously female sports, female change rooms, female bathrooms should be for females, not for biological males," he added.
