Can’t believe that people are spreading the left-handed agenda on this apolitical shitposting sub. A hundred years ago, everyone was right-handed. But these days, the sinister left-handeds are forcing their unnatural left-handed ideology onto our children! Disgusting!

The older I get, the less a problem being left handed has become. Mostly now it just results in bad handwriting and occasionally awkwardly holding something. But yeah, it sucks when you're in school.
- Same, scissors and tools that companies try to make too ergonomic are the only problems now. Well that and on the rare occasions that I have to hand write stuff it still gets all over the side of my hand.

And if there was a lefty desk, a righty took it because it just felt 'more comfortable'.
- Our schools have always had a surplus of these. Normally the left handed ones would be on the far left wall in classrooms.
- Not if they wanted to make it out of dodgeball alive.

Bad example. Those desks are shit for everybody.
- And those are "good", there were some with only half or 1/3 of the shown table space. Had to sit on those for a number of years.

I have never actually seen one of those types of desks even once.

Multiple forms of oppression can exist at the same time. Get out of here with the boomer humour. Also, I've never seen one of those desks in my life. Why not use a normal desk?

Naaa. it really isn't hard to teach the left hand to use a righthanded mouse. I got used to it within a day.
I'll take some minor awkwardness that is easily overcome vs being someone's property and being denied a livelihood any day.
