Post Shave: Chatillon Lux - Weinstrasse - Aftershave
Post Shave: House of Mammoth/Declaration Grooming - Cerberus - Liniment
Weinstrasse aftershave has given me frag and/or menthol burn in the past. I used to have the soap and had no problem with it. In general I like to water down CL aftershaves/toners, so I did that today and it seemed to make the frag/menthol burn go away. For now I'll keep it, since I love the scent. I'm willing to alter my application technique if it means I get to keep using it.
I like the Central Texas soap base. It's a tad on the poofy side, but turns really nice when you add a bunch of water to it.
Talc: Yardley Classic
2 passes. Face lather. Excellent shave.
A great shave today and I'm posting very late. Again, I almost forgot.
Now that I know that Desert Vetiver has a grapefruit note, I can find it pretty readily, and with my penchant for renaming fragrances, I'm tempted to start calling this Dessert Vetiver. Awesome, well crafted, scent!

Oops, super busy day and I almost missed my SOTD post. This tub of soap was on my 2021 kill list. It's mostly full. Ugh.
Fun little thing I saw now looking at the SOTD pic: The bevel is mirror polished (duh, but:) and in this picture it becomes very visible because the word RUM of the balm label is reflected on it. Neat!
