Any spirit level is simply a measure of its tangent with centre of mass of the earth on its plane. I can use the same technique to prove a tennis ball is flat, I can prove thin air is flat….

What people don't realize is that these levels are built with a barely-perceptible curve to match the shape of the Earth.
